Wall Photo Project

One hall at Arcola Jr./Sr. High School had a whole new look for students, staff and visitors when the school reopened following the 2025 Christmas break. The project showcases photos taken from yearbooks and other sources covering 12 decades from years 1911-2023. More than 100 photos were used representing student athletics, arts, academics and other activities following the theme of “Embracing the future… As we honor the past…” The wall runs the length of the east-west hallway between the high school gym and the junior high gym. The project was partially funded by the Arcola Alumni Association.
